Yes, you can go to Database>Delete to delete ingredients or recipes.

Is there a way of deleting an ingredient that was manually entered into the database?

Is there a way to delete the sample recipes?
I don't want to make fruit salad with seasoned peas, and the database>delete method doesn't work because they don't show up on that list for some reason.
