Genesis has the option to export your recipes as an ingredient. This will export the nutrient information, ingredient statement, alternate name, yields/measures, cost, groups, and allergens. It will not export the exact ingredients from your database or the exact amounts of those ingredients that are used in the recipe.
1. Open the recipe you want to export as an ingredient, go to the "Recipe" ribbon and click on Export>As Ingredient
2. Enter in a name for the ingredient, and choose the weight you would like to have the ingredient entered with.
3. Ok the window confirming the recipe exported successfully.
4. Send this .exl file to the person you want to have your ingredient. They can then import the file by going to Database>Import and selecting the .exl file to import.
