Q. I have an analysis that reports Total Fat at 0.05g and Saturated Fat at 48.03g. How can Saturated Fat be greater than Total Fat?
A. You'll want to review the source information. The Total Fat value should be greater than the Saturated Fat value.
1. If this is information for a single ingredient, check the documentation to see that the values were entered correctly. Contact your supplier for clarification if this is how the values are reported on your data sheet.
2. If this is a Recipe, check the Spreadsheet to see if any of the ingredients are missing their Fat value. Missing data is indicated by a dash (--) on the Spreadsheet.
