How are Calories/KJ calculated for the 2020 Mexico label?

5.1.1 Energy calculation

The amount of energy to be declared must be calculated using the following conversion factors:

Carbohydrates available 4 kcal / g 17 kJ / g

Proteins        4 kcal / g 17 kJ / g

Fat            9 kcal / g 37 kJ / g

Alcohol     7 kcal / 29 kJ / g

Sugar Alcohol    2.4 kcal / 10 kJ / g

Erythritol     0 kcal / 0 kJ / g

Allulose     0 kcal / 0 kJ / g

Tagatose    1.5 kcal / 6.276 kJ / g
