Why do my Analysis Override nutrient values change?

Analysis overrides are used when the data received from a lab analysis (or another source) is used in place of the nutrient values that Genesis R&D calculates. Once the overrides are put in, any additional changes to the formula or recipe can affect those overrides.

Here are examples of how Analysis Override nutrients are affected by changes in Serving Weight.

Example #1 (Override will scale)

1. Create a new recipe with 1 item at 100 grams.
2. Set the "Recipe Makes" equal to 1 (so the Serving Weight will be 100g)
3. Override Calories to 100
4. Now add 100g of water (EshaCode 20041)
5. The Serving Weight has now doubled to 200g, therefore the override doubles to 200 Calories.

Example #2 (Override will NOT scale)

1. Create a new recipe with 1 item at 100 grams.
2. Set the "Serving Weighs" to 100 grams.
3. Override Calories to 100
4. Now add 100g of water (EshaCode 20041)
5. Because the "Serving Weighs" is set to 100 grams, the serving weight is still 100 grams, therefore the override stays the same at 100 Calories.
