Genesis R&D errs on the side of caution because we have no way of determining contamination or hidden allergens in your real-life situation. As a default, all ESHA database ingredients originally contain all default (program provided) allergens.
We leave the creation of an accurate Allergen Statement up to you.
Any Recipe you create will list the allergens of all of the Ingredients used. In some cases, you will have already modified the Ingredients to account for allergens. In other cases, you will not. The Recipe will inherit allergens from the Ingredients.
So you will either have to correct the allergens at the Ingredient level or at the Recipe level.
Note: User-created allergens are not marked by default
